Edward Gein is one of the most famous serial killers in the world in the last century. Some famous movies’ characters are based on him such as the Leatherface in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Hannibal Lecter in The Silence of the Lambs. Is Edward Gein born like a serial killer? No, he once was a kid who was also pure and simple. People usually focus on how cruel he was as a serial killer, accounting how many people he killed; judging what unbearable things he did, but they always ignore how he became a serial killer or what made him be like this. My collection would bring people back to Edward’s childhood to witness his life before he started killing. Here, he is not a serial killer any more, he is just a poor kid suffering from domestic violence, school bully and his mom’s abnormal education… Colorful but uncomfortable, cute but creepy.
